Celulosas de Hernani, S.A., GUREOLA, began its activity in 1912 and since then we haven’t stopped innovating and adapting to the new necessities of the market.

In 1955, was the first company produced Tissue Paper in the Peninsula, and from mid of 80-s has been using offcut paper (recovered paper) as raw material so that once it is deinked and recycled in our facilities, it is available for the market.

In the year 2006 start a new way, based on the principle of “compromise to our customers” and it is aimed mainly to the tissue converting industry.

We join experience and facilities to offer the best service and a quick answer to the needs of processed-to-be tissue paper. Our strategic location lets us be an agile and effective supplier in the European market.

In the year 2.007, once again ahead of our sector as has set up a new machine with the 1 st steel Yankee dryer (high-energy efficiency drying cylinder) built in, in the Peninsula. This turns us into the largest independent supplier of deinked tissue paper Jumbo Rolls.

With this new investment duplicates its capacity of production.
